at the Southgate Swim Club:

First come, first served.
Levels will be determined at sign-up.

About Us
We are a volunteer organized membership community pool established circa 1960 that continues to serve Hayward's Southgate and surrounding neighborhoods. We strive to create space for families, friends and neighbors to relax, connect and enjoy the warm summer months. We also proudly serve our community by hosting the Southgate Penguins Swim Team, and offer our space for community organization use.
Club Features
Lifeguards
Our guards are Red cross trained & certified. They are on duty during open hours for the safety for all members and guests.
Heated Pool
Deep end for diving and a shallow side for frolicking and water games.
Toddler Pool
A separate pool just for 5 years and under. Adult supervisor with in arms reach is required.
BBQ Pit
Renovated large covered area with 4 cooking stations for family barbeques. (coals only)
Grounds
Maintained lawn area around the pool to include volley ball area. Covered patio, picnic tables, loungers and chairs.
Facilities
Bathroom with changing rooms, outdoor shower & cubbies for storage while you swim.
